My name is Carsten. I’m the Educational Manager at CLL Kids&Teens. Nice to meet you!
I’m originally from San Diego and I’ve been living in Belgium for 12 years. I’ve been teaching English to children and teenagers for 11 years and, like many expats, I learned French and Dutch on the spot. These experiences have helped me understand what works best in a language course: interaction, inspiring content and activities that get people moving! With CLL’s Kids&Teens team, we implement CLL’s “active” pedagogy, enabling your child to make real progress in the target language, while having fun!

Our trainers are professionals trained in the specifics of teaching children and teenagers. They regularly update their skills thanks to the support of a team of educators dedicated to young audiences. They’re like your children: unique. And it’s this diversity, combined with a coherent pedagogical approach, that enables us to personalise our teaching and thus ensure the best possible progress for each participant.

The quality of the courses is a constant focus of our mission. We organise preparation sessions with the trainers, and we are present all summer to manage the quality of our training courses. The course focused on the difficulties of the students present, and the small number of students meant that the problems were really targeted. Joachim was happy to go to the class, thanks to the teacher who was able to make it fun. He was even disappointed when it ended…
