To travel, live or study in Belgium, France, Canada or one of the 26 other countries for which it is the official language.

To work at the United Nations, in the European Institutions, the International Olympic Committee or the International Committee of the Red Cross.

To better understand the etymology of the English language.

To watch François Truffaut's films or read Victor Hugo's Les Misérables in the text.

These are good reasons to learn a language that, by 2050, will be spoken by 750 million people around the world.

Specialist in teaching of French as a foreign language for more than 30 years, the CLL offers two programs this summer:

  • French4Life in Brussels: two weeks of intensive courses, each day from 9 to 12 and from 13 to 15 hours. A new session begins every two weeks.
  • French4Study in Louvain-la-Neuve: a special program for students and researchers preparing to enter a French-speaking university.
