PEDAGOGICAL CO-ORDINATOR / QUALITY ADVISOR

Permanent contract, full-time position in CLL’s European Institution department based in Brussels with some trips abroad.

Your mission:

  • You are able to manage all pedagogical and administrative tasks within the framework given.
  • You have proven experience in team management and the development of training programs.
  • You are autonomous, enjoy challenges, have excellent people skills and have an assertive personality.
  • Flexible and open to new ideas, you are able to assist in strategic planning and assure the operational implementation of all projects.
  • You demonstrate a constant interest in new language teaching methods.
  • To recruit, supervise and train the trainers teaching in the European Institutions.
  • To carry out classroom visits and provide appropriate coaching.
  • To co-ordinate all teaching activities.
  • To manage specific projects for all levels and all types of course.
  • To provide ongoing training, particularly in the field of new technologies.
  • In collaboration with the Department Manager, to define CLL’s pedagogical approach to teaching at the European Institutions and to ensure its proper implementation.
  • To develop new teaching practices and material based on IT initiatives.
  • To supervise all LMS platform projects.
  • To constantly be aware of all educational innovations in the language training sector.
  • To coordinate cross-border projects.

Your profile:

  • You hold a higher education/university degree in languages. The degree has to be awarded after at least three years of study.
  • You have a minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in teaching coordination.
  • You have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in language teaching to adults.
  • You have knowledge in face-to-face and online language teaching.
  • You have a knowledge of English and French corresponding to level C1 as defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) of the Council of Europe. A knowledge of another European language (minimum B2 level) would be useful.
  • You have very good knowledge of multimedia teaching and the use of multimedia resources and information and communication technology (ICT).
  • Experience in managing/coordinating LMS projects is a real asset.
  • You are organized and able to set priorities in a changing environment.
